Beatrice L. Schmidt

Beatrice Schmidt, 97, passed away March 20, 2021, born on March 16, 1924 in Meno, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Henry J. and Hilda (Johnson) Smith. Beatrice married the love of her life, Laurence Schmidt on August 11, 1945. They had six children and shared 64 years of marriage. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to her husband, family and faith. Beatrice is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Laurence; son Jeffrey, son-in-law Carl Lambert; brother Harry Smith, sister Gladys Koehn; three half-brothers; one half-sister. She is survived by sons, Gary (Billye) Schmidt, Charles (Terry) Schmidt, Philip Schmidt; daughters, Connie (Fred) Cabala, Charlotte Lambert, daughter-in-law, Beth Schmidt, two half-brothers and three half-sisters; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Broadway Mortuary, Thursday, March 25 from 5 pm to 8 pm, family will be present. Graveside Service, Friday, March 26 at 2 pm at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside.
