Anna Lee "Dee" Scholle

Anna Lee Scholle, 86, passed away on Nov. 28, 2022.  She was the daughter of Dr. H.L. Galloway and Elizabeth Galloway of Anthony, KS and the sister of Michael (Mari) Galloway.  She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany (Greg) Whisler and Nicole (Lee) Huffhines and her grandchildren, Quinn and Mason Lyles.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Scholle, and her youngest daughter, Monay (Brad) Lyles; her sister, Susan, passed away when Anna Lee was in college.  Anna Lee went to Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University) and received her teaching degree; she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.  Anna Lee taught school in Denver, CO for a year and was a substitute teacher at Wichita Collegiate School in the 1980’s.  She was also known as “The Cake Lady” and had a long career baking custom cakes for many people.   A private service will be held.
