Flores, Ann Pyles, 72, registered nurse, educator, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away on May 22, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born to Ralph and Murlee (Wells) Pyles on February 8, 1943 in Princeton, Illinois. Her 48-year career included obstetrical nursing, teaching nursing students, and sexual assault nurse examiner. She loved unconditionally, and valued family and friends above all. Ann is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Rey) Salazar; son, Michael (Jamie) Flores; grandchildren, Alicia Salazar (Marcus Villa), Erica (Michael) Tejeda, Isaac and Micaah Salazar, Matthew (Nichole) Flores and Shelby Flores; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Ray (Juanita) and John (Freda) Pyles; many cousins and other relatives, and many, many friends. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband, Michael Flores. Rosary, 7 pm, Friday, May 29, and Memorial Mass, 10 am, Saturday, May 30, both at All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand.
