Amber Slankard

Amber Dawn Slankard, 40, veterinarian tech and all around animal lover, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Malvon and Cynthia Rhodes, Clarence Slankard; step-grandfather, Buzzy Hoffman and cousin Mason Rhodes. Survivors include her father, William Slankard (Janet); mother, Malvonna Slankard; grandmother, Marcella Hoffman; sister, Amy Barnett (Brandon); step-brother, Jared Heiman; aunts and uncles, Melissa Slankard, Carrie Lindsay (Robert), Kevin Rhodes (Karen), Kara Liss and Kyle Rhodes (Angela); nieces, Jazzilyn Slankard and Aria Barnett; cousins, Emma Rhodes, Ellie Rhodes, Keeley Rhodes, Madison Rhodes, Kaitlyn Rhodes, Gavin Rhodes, Zach Slates and Tanner Rhodes. Lastly, she is survived by her fur babies and pigren, who she loved and treated like her children.
