Alyce A. Bradford

Alyce Bradford, 73, slipped away peacefully in her sleep on January 1, 2025. She was born in Turrell, Arkansas on November 22, 1951, to Herman and Lillian Whitaker. She was the youngest of 4 siblings. Alyce completed her schooling in Southern California where she met the love of her life, Rodger Bradford. They celebrated 51 years of marriage.

To this union were born 3 daughters; Jennifer Minson (Bobby), Janet Bradford, and Julia Saunders (Gene). Alyce and Rodger adopted 3 of their 13 grandchildren and raised them as their own (Brianna, Dashawn and Maurice). Alyce loved being a mother, but another joy of her life was babysitting many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was intricately involved in the lives of her 26 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lillian Whitaker.; grandchildren, Dashawn Bradford and Jason Minson; and her 4 siblings. Alyce had a contagious smile, and she genuinely cared for people. She will be deeply missed by all of those who shared in her life.
