Seeking the Weird

Dear Editors,
I am a freelance writer who was recently contracted for a book called Weird Colorado to join a series published by Barnes & Noble on all things strange and wonderful in the U.S.
The editors are Mark Moran and Mark Sceurman, who kicked this whole thing off with a website and magazine called Weird New Jersey, expanded into said book series, and sometimes produce a program on the History Channel called “Weird U.S.”
I would like your readers to know that I am looking for personal experiences, tips and leads on interesting and possibly weird stuff about Colorado that hasn’t been published before, or not in any great detail. I promise to give credit to sources, or keep anonymity if requested, but I do prefer material I can actually verify as to names, dates, exact locations, etc., when at all possible.
